09:12 pm - Manicure Recommendation

Most of you gals out there understand the difficult search to find a really good manicurist/pedicurist. I've been back in Northern Virginia for over two years and have tried numerous location until I *finally* found a *REALLY* good one. I've been going to Sunny for about 3 months now and my nails have never looked better. In 3 months I have only had one incident of one of my acrylic nails lifting. She even has me to the point where she is just reinforcing my natural nails instead of using tips. AND she gives amazing spa pedicures.

Sunny just opened her own shop in the Tysons Corner area, on Gallows Road at the intersection of Gallows and Electric Avenue. Information (including a coupon) behind the cut ...

2 Sweet Nails

2 Sweet Nails Spa
2238 Gallows Road
Vienna, VA 22182
703-560-0622

When I was there this afternoon the sign on the shop had not yet been changed to reflect the new name, 2 Sweet ... the old name was Green Tea Nail Spa.

In addition to nail services, they also provide waxing and massages.

(You won't believe what they said ... | You have something to say?)

Must be something about women named Sunny. My favorite mani-pedi person in NYC was named Sunny as well, and she was AMAZING.

My Sunny worked in NYC until about a year ago. What are the chances it is the same person? What was the name of the spa you went to ... or the location?

It was in Astoria, next to the Ditmars Blvd. train station. She gave the BEST foot massages.

This is FREAKY. I'm calling her tomorrow to find out where she worked because she DOES give the BEST foot massages. Do you have "It's A Small World" playing in your head?

she's also better than a hairstylist when it comes to talking, advice and such. If it's the same Sunny, I'm SO coming down there for pedis in August...

Sounds like they are one in the same. I'll let you know after I speak with her. I'm taking The Boy there next week, after his leg is a bit more healed, for a pedi. Boys have icky feet. LOL.

That would be so cool if it is her!! She was the best, and I almost went to Astoria the last time I was in NYC JUST to go to her...
Boys do have icky feet. Especially after being in a cast....

Hey!!!! I resembl ... er, resent that! >:-<

Actually, I've gotten a couple of manicures before. They were *okay* but no big thrill. I also tried a pedicure once. Did NOT enjoy that at all. Someone messing around with my feet. *shudder*
